Looking for engaging and supportive lessons to help your child develop their unique artistic voice? I offer both 1:1 and group lessons rooted in the belief that we are all inherently creative and deserve space to experiment and explore without the pressure to be perfect.
With over 15 years of teaching experience, I have worked with a wide range of students, including children as well as adults with disabilities. This has helped shape a patient, inclusive and encouraging teaching style that focuses on process over product.
I hold a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from UW-Madison, and am well versed in a wide range of mediums including illustration, painting, collage, clay, printmaking, murals and more. While I love teaching students the technical skills needed to master different art forms, I equally encourage curiosity, play, and self-expression and believe there is no “right” way to create art.
I offer both recurring one-on-one art lessons, as well as providing longer-term mentorship for more substantial creative projects such as helping a child design and paint their own mural. Additionally, I am available to lead one-time creative experiences such as birthday parties, workshops, or group events.
