TripAdvisor x San Diego Tourism Authority

I created this mural in partnership with Tripadvisor and the San Diego Tourism Authority as part of a campaign highlighting San Diego as a travel destination. The initiative featured three San Diego artists installing murals in three different cities to inspire viewers to visit sunny San Diego.

My mural, located just off La Brea Avenue in Los Angeles, celebrates some of San Diego’s most iconic places, including the Torrey Pines Gliderport, the vibrant Mexican culture and cuisine of Barrio Logan and Old Town, the laid-back beach vibe of Ocean Beach, the San Diego skyline, and the beloved seal pups born along the coast each year.

The mural also featured a QR code unlocking augmented reality experiences. In addition, each artist designed artwork for a sweepstakes gift box featuring San Diego destinations and products from popular local companies.
